Alexandre has been a member of the Brussels bar since 2020. He started his career in an IP boutique law firm, where he worked in various areas of intellectual property. While the main focus of his work was on copyright and new technology matters from both an advisory and contentious perspective, he also gained experience in broader areas of commercial law, including distribution and franchise law.
After having completed his bar internship and prior to joining Fencer, Alexandre worked in a renowned international law firm, where his practice focused predominantly on contentious IP matters, with a particular emphasis on trademark litigation and experience in patent disputes, including cases before the Unified Patent Court (UPC). He advised and represented clients mainly in the life sciences and pharmaceutical sector, and also worked on injunction proceedings relating to copyright infringement in the streaming industry.
